THE WORK
Caterina was born in Parma in 1991 and grew up in Collecchio.
After attending the Liceo Artistico in her town, she moved to Siena to study Cultural Heritage, a three-year degree enriched by a year spent in Tarragona.

After a semester-long experience in Aguascalientes (Mexico), she decided to conclude her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, where she is currently enrolled in the Art Graphics course.

INSPIRATION
At what point can a tailcoat and fashion meet? This is easy, the piece of art piece of art that has come into my hands proves it. The difficult part was to understand what could happen when the Flemish costume and a complex land like Oceania come face to face. Oceania come face to face. I have let myself be carried away by the suggestions, the tribal images and the animal fantasy of that ancient land and I have intertwined them. the suggestions, tribal images and animal fantasy of that ancient land and intertwined them with the rhythm and the beat the polka dots that characterize the dress. Letting myself go, not only a fun and colorful work was born, but also a and colorful work, but also a story to be discovered little by little among the folds and ruffles of the folds and ruffles of the gown...
